.@shennyg Build from scratch and your end up with Typo, Mephisto, etc. A port would need to be compatible with existing WP blogs.

Did @tumblr remove the ability to have incoming feeds? Like from Twitter, Vimeo, Flickr, RSS, etc? That's a real bummer, if so.

If someone wanted to lure away Ruby's users/customers, one way to do that would be to port Rails to whatever language.
