I just learned that the place I interviewed with before here just got bought by whitepages.com. Maybe for $20 million. Weird.
It's raining buckets here in Seattle. Just like the old adage goes: June showers bring July flowers. Hooray?

In reply to:@kevinclark are you serious? vegan bacon donuts? at DENNY'S?
I've dealt with bullies like him my whole life. Everywhere I go in this world it seems like someone is always trying to pick on "the weak".
After me announcing this to the rest of the passengers in the car, he leaned his seat back to its upright position.
The asshole sitting in front of me just threatened to "kick my fucking ass" for not letting him lean his seat back.
Train departed on time. Seattle, I'm coming home.
Dear Seattle vegan friends, I'm coming home with 26 vegan donuts. HALP!
Bailed on railsconf keynote. Hung out and read at the comic shop where nate works. Caught a ride to voodoo donuts then train depot.
