Things will be different and I'll get used to it. But for now, it's just a little weird.

I keep my back door closed now while I'm home. I don't have a garbage disposal for my food scraps. There's nothing blocking the stairs.

There're all these little things that are different now. For the first time in my adult life, there's none of the dog infrastructure anymore
