The "test" set ActiveRecord::AssociationCache.active = true. Asserted nothing. Setting back to false at the end of the test fixed my world.

My tests passed swimmingly when run stand alone, but as part of suite, they failed in a very odd way.

Just found a 2 month old "test" that had zero assertions, but was breaking the hell out of my new seemingly unrelated codez.
