In reply to:@steveklabnik @gesa @tenderlove Eli is on a Twitter cleanse, so I emailed him. He said he'd bring a bunch of Magic™ cards to share too.
In reply to:@joshsusser The enemy's gate is down.
In reply to:@judsonlester This toot wasn't about Twitter misidentifying URLs. It was about people in the world doing horrible things.
A 2 part plan to unfuck this mess:
1. Stop claiming that URLs are malware in DMs.
2. Stop t.co-ing all URLs in toots, DMs, profiles & bios. Also, it's colossally stupid that I have to write quoteunquote URLs as actually not URLs so Twitter t.co them.
twitter[.]com and google[.]com in DMs are not labeled malware. Who else is on the whitelist?
Twitter is claiming that *all* URLs (in DMs) are "malware". That's a very specific claim. It's defamation in printed words. Libel.
In reply to:@bleything That's my point.
If you try to DM the @Farmhouse URL, you get:
"There was an error sending your message: Text contains malware: http://farmhouse.la."
